Located at 18515 Detroit Ave., Georgetown is one of Lakewood’s most iconic and long-standing restaurants. Known for its versatility, the establishment offers a decorated front patio featuring a fountain and plants in the summer, while the winter months feature eight person pop-up igloos with heating and lighting inside. The interior is equally as inviting, decorated for every season and holiday.
Opened in 2011, Georgetown’s extensive menu and friendly staff allows the restaurant to cater to a wide range of diners.
Georgetown offers a variety of different weekly events, including a girls night on Thursdays with a specialized menu, alongside happy hours and seasonal specials.
The restaurant is owned by Mickey Krivosh, who also operates Around The Corner and the attached event space, Vosh. Vosh hosts public events available to Georgetown customers, such as line dancing, as well as private events like weddings and parties.
While the menu is extensive, Georgetown’s pizza is a standout offer. Their pizza is made with fresh sauce, cheese, and ingredients, with each bite being delicious. With the perfect balance of cheese and crust, the pizza comes out perfect every time.
Manager Anthony Torres said, “I would say pizza is our most popular item on the menu because we use a wood-fired pizza oven to give it a specific flavor. It is a thin crust, and it comes out fast.”
One of the most popular is the hot honey pizza, which features a hot honey drizzle, giving the customer the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and spicy. Customer Alex Turner said, “I love their pizza. I love going to happy hour and getting a drink and a pizza.”
Georgetown focuses on not only having good food but also having an amazing atmosphere for customers. Krivosh is frequently seen going around to tables to ensure guests are satisfied with the experience, showing the owner’s care for his customers.
“Georgetown is a place that’s about good food and drinks in a comfortable, well-designed setting,” Krivosh said.
Unlike large restaurants, which can take a long time to get food to customers, Georgetown prides itself on its quick service and high customer satisfaction. The team works hard to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, guaranteeing an amazing experience.
Krivosh’s goal with Georgetown was to found a restaurant to give back to the Lakewood community he and his family grew up in. Georgetown combines high quality cuisine with community engagement, giving all Lakewood residents a perfect place to enjoy good food and company.
