The boys lacrosse team had their senior night last Friday against Orange. The boys unfortunately lost this, 10-8. Senior Declan Pauly fought until the end on defense, earning himself From the Sidelines’ “Who Put the Hustle In Award.” Senior Cole Spada also made his first career start.
Saturday, April 25
The girls lacrosse team had a matchup last Saturday against South East High School. Despite good effort by the opposing team, the girls squelched all of their hopes to win, in a 14-1 beatdown. Sophomore Alvena Eh scored her first career hat trick, earning herself From the Sidelines’ “Who Put the Hustle in award.” Additionally, Senior Gwen Hongosh also scored 5 goals. This puts the girls in the win column for the first time this season. The girls are back in action tomorrow, April 28 against Holy Name away.
The boys lacrosse team had a vicious CWC matchup against a top Ohio team, Bay Village. The boys tried to hold their own, but they dropped this one, 12-0. The boys will be back in action tonight against Stowe-Monroe at home.
