Crumb and Spigot opened its Lakewood location in October 2023, marking its second site for the local business. Located at 15322 Detroit Ave., their wood-fired pizzas and wide menu appeal to customers.
The restaurant features a vegan and vegetarian menu to meet a variety of dietary restrictions. The cozy interior, along with the friendly staff and quality food, make Crumb and Spigot a great place to grab a bite to eat.

Tucked away between restaurants across from the library, the restaurant is one of Lakewood’s hidden gems.
Most of Crumb and Spigot’s menu is made in-house from scratch. “Something that sets this restaurant apart from others in this area is that we have a lot of different options. We’ve got vegan pizzas and vegetarian pizzas,” said manager Vanessa Schlauf. “We have pizzas for everyone; it doesn’t matter your dietary restrictions.”
Beyond the standard menu, the restaurant also offers various specials depending on the day. “We have daily specials, like on Wednesdays it’s ten-dollar pizzas all day long, and we also have happy hour, which is Tuesday through Sunday,” Schlauf said.
While newer to Lakewood, Crumb and Spigot has deep roots in Ohio, having provided its diverse menu to Ohio residents for years.
“Get the vegan Caesar salad; don’t be afraid of the word ‘vegan,’ it’s a delicious salad,” said customer Patrick Emery, “I’m familiar with Crumb and Spigot, because I grew up in Chagrin Falls…and I’ve been there many times and have had good experiences.”
The signature wood-fired pizzas feature a thin, crunchy crust with a soft interior. The pies are served hot and fresh with various toppings and styles to choose from.
Since its opening, Crumb and Spigot has made it its mission to have a positive impact on the community.

“We have been fortunate to be involved in some local school events for teachers and have been an active participant in annual events like Lakewood Arts Festival and Light Up Lakewood,” said owner Jamy Bolling. “It has been exciting for our business each year to grow as we become more well-known in the community, and we look forward to more opportunities to support the Lakewood Rangers and other local events.”
Crumb and Spigot aims to create an environment that makes customers want to come back. “We want to be more than just a place to eat,” Bolling said. “We aim to provide an experience where everything feels thoughtful by delivering high-quality food and drinks in a friendly, relaxed, and inviting environment where people want to return again and again—a neighborhood restaurant that feels both special and familiar.”
Whether searching for a comfortable spot for dinner or looking to get a $10 Wednesday pizza, Crumb and Spigot is the spot to go. The food’s high quality is made even better by the welcoming staff, giving every customer a positive experience.
