Monday, March 25th:
Last night, the girls’ lacrosse team played against the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs for their Home Opener of the season. In the first half of the game, the Bulldogs made many goals, throwing the Rangers off track. By the second half, the Rangers’ defense came back stronger and was able to hold the Bulldogs back more. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs won 13-1. However, the girls battled fiercely on the field with many close shots from Junior Piper Polen and Seniors Maggie Barmann and Helen Fraunfelder. Player of the Game went to Senior Luella Darr after she made a goal for the Rangers by drawing a foul and scoring off the 8-meter. Although it was a tough loss for the Rangers, throughout the game they improved and gained experience that they will take into their next game on Thursday, March 27th.
