Junior Ella Bower and senior Madison Comer are Rangers of the game

Monday, April 28th:

Yesterday, softball played against Normandy and beat them with a final score of 8-1. Rangers of the Game went to Ella Bower and Madison Comer. Bower did a great job pitching and also reached 100 strikeouts this season.  Comer had 3 hits for the game. Their next game is today at North Olmsted. 

Last night, the baseball team faced off against the Westlake Demons at Westlake High School and defeated them in a hard fought game 6-5. Cooper Russell led off the inning for the Rangers and Nick Hart added a hit and RBI. The Lakewood Rangers face off against the Westlake Demons again tonight at home.

Kylee Zingale (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She enjoys listening to music and hanging out with her two dogs. She works at Goldfish Swim School as an instructor and lifeguard. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends.

Sophia Schelgunov (she/her) is a senior at Lakewood High School. This is her first year on staff. She is a varsity cheerleader for the sideline and competition cheer teams at LHS. She is a lifeguard for Foster Pool at Lakewood Park during summer breaks. She devotes her free time to spending time with friends, listening to music, and movie nights.
