The boys basketball team had a game last Friday when they took on the Eagles from North Olmsted High School in North Olmsted. The boys won this battle 74-40, backed by great defensive efforts by junior Rory Chanter, who tallied lots of steals. Because of this, he has earned the From the Sidelines “Who Put the Hustle in Award.”
Saturday, Dec. 6
The Lakewood girls’ basketball team traveled to North Olmsted to play Saturday. They won 57-35, beating the Eagles in a good game. Sophomore Ariana Hueter led the team in effort, grabbing rebounds and displaying a strong post game. This earned her From The Sidelines’ “Who Put in the Hustle” award. Lakewood plays today at home. The boys basketball team had a game in Olmsted Falls on Saturday, where they lost 57-30. The boys will be in action Friday, Dec. 12 against Buckeye High School at home.
