The Lakewood girls’ basketball team played last night at Valley Forge, losing 54-46. They played a great game, but fell short in the end. Their record is now 11-6, and they will play tonight at home against Rocky River. Good luck, Lakewood!
The boys basketball team took on Valley Forge last night for a gritty CWC matchup. The boys extended their win streak to 3 with a 51-40. Senior Kavontah Swain led the charge with lots of fast break opportunities. This earned him From the Sidelines “Who Put the Hustle In Award.” The boys will be back in action Friday, Feb. 6.
Lakewood gymnastics had senior night at Horace Mann last night! They won the competition and honored seniors Sara Surace, Grace Liderbach, Isabella Lester, Charlotte Reed, and Maddie Breitenbach. Senior Sara Surace placed in all five events, showing off her senior talent. Congrats, gymnastics!
