Lakewood girls’ basketball played Avon in the playoffs last night, losing 33-51. This marks the end of the girls’ season, with them going 14-9 and finishing 3rd in the conference with a record of 10-4. From the Sidelines’ “Who Put in the Hustle” award goes to senior Ruby Fraunfelder for coming back from an almost career-ending injury to round out the season. Lakewood is very proud of you, girls’ basketball!
