The boys indoor track team had their OATCC State Championship meet on Friday, which featured 4 extra special athletes. They all ran the 4x200m relay, which finished 9th in the state.
On top of running one of those legs, junior Tyrese Gatling also finished 14th in the state in the 60m dash.
Sophomore Boston Truitt finished 10th in the state in the 2oom dash and 4th for the long jump, both of which are new school records. Because of these races as well as his leg in the 4x200m, he earned From the Sidelines’ “Who Put the Hustle in Award.”
The boys indoor season is over, however they are now gearing up for a great outdoor season.
