History Club invites all students to a discussion of the legacy – what’s real and what’s a distortion – of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, today at 3:10 in C314.

Carnations are red, and the cards are too, tell your Valentine how much they mean to you. Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, February 14th. How are you going to celebrate it? Why not purchase a carnation from a Key Club Member. You can purchase carnations for $1 through next Tuesday, February 13th during all lunch periods. Carnations can also be purchased from Ms. Stephenson in room A202 or any Key Club member. The flowers and cards will be delivered to your first period class on Wednesday, February 14th. Buy your carnations today for your Valentine and celebrate love and friendship!

The Winter Formal is this Saturday from 7-10 pm.  This is our first dance in the new gym.  You only have 3 days left to purchase the tickets at $15.  Tickets are $15 through Wednesday.  The price will be increased to $20 on Thursday.  Tickets will not be sold after Thursday and there will be no ticket sales at the door.  You must turn in a form signed by your parent before you can purchase a ticket, so pick up a form in the bookroom or in the cafeteria.  Don’t forget if you are taking a guest from another high school, you must have the form signed by their principal and their parent.

Interact, the high school affiliate of Rotary, will be hosting its February breakfast meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in room A125.   Anyone interested, is welcome to join us.
