The Lakewood High Dance Group will be performing in their annual show this weekend in the Civic Auditorium! There are two events: One on Friday, February 22, and one on Saturday, February 23, both beginning at 7:30. The show lasts for a little over an hour, so sit back and watch some dancing! Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults at the door, and cost a dollar less for each if they are bough in the Book Room beforehand.

All of the dances in the show are student-created and performed, with genres ranging from hip-hop to contemporary. Some dancers have had no dance experience prior to the show and others have been dancing for years, but everyone shines equally in this unique performance!

Students will be dancing to songs such as “Finesse” by Bruno Mars, “New Rules” by Dua Lipa, “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons, “Boss” by Fifth Harmony, “Build Me Up Buttercup” by The Foundations, “Partition” by BeyoncĂ©, and more.

The dance group has been hard at work since the beginning of the school year to make this show their best yet, so you don’t want to miss it!
