Are you tough enough to BRAVE THE SHAVE?  We are just a few weeks away from the LHS St. Baldrick’s event on Friday, March 16.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  In order for us to reach our fundraising goal, we need students and staff to sacrifice their hair.  Please see Mr. Stelter in C216 or Mrs. Guzowski in C209 as soon as possible to find out how you can be a part of this exciting and meaningful event.  Additionally, students who have already signed up, need to speak with Mr. Stelter or Mrs. Guzowski as soon as possible!

On behalf of the boys’ basketball program, Coach Cammock would like to thank all the students and staff for their support on Friday night at the basketball game. The student section was unbelievable and the atmosphere was second to none. Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of support and we hope we performed well enough to bring everyone back tomorrow night at 7pm @ LHS for our first playoff game! Proud to be a Ranger! Let’s keep it going!

The 16th Annual Physics Cardboard Boat Regatta sponsored by Tavens Packaging and Display Solutions is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6th from 3:10pm until 4:00pm.  Over 150 physics students have been constructing boats out of cardboard and packing tape that can hold 2 students and be able to float across the pool without sinking.  Last year’s regatta was hysterical!  We have over 40 cardboard boats this year.  Tickets are now on sale, see Mr. Hille in A312 or purchase tickets in the bookroom.  The cost of admission is only $1.00 for staff and students.  Tickets will also be available at the door; however last year was sold out, so get yours today. We are still looking for Lakewood High School Clubs or Groups to build cardboard boats and participate.  Please contact Mr. Hille in room A312 to sign up or get more information.

Also, check us out tomorrow morning on the Fox 8 Morning Show as we Kick it with Kenny.
