Take on “I’m not a Painter” by Kyle Darovich

Kyle Darovich

I am not a therapist, I am a survivor

I too used to be that backseat driver

Wondering if things would improve

Hoping the surround world would finally approve

Then I realized

Why feel criticized

When you could be equalized

Stop trying to jeopardize and mesmerize yourself

Just so you can be recognized and socialized by the world around you

Be you and be proud to be you

All the things you’ve been through

Have shaped you

Be proud of the person you are today

Make today your best

So you have a positive slip to take to the grave.
