This week’s person of the week is Courtney Ribar (Kiki)! Kiki loves to stay active within her school and is super excited to attend Ohio University next year. I was blessed to be able to get the opportunity to interview Kiki and ask her a few questions about herself and her experiences.

Why did you choose Ohio University?

I chose to go to Ohio University because it felt like home. I know a few people who went there and they all loved it. I think that Ohio University is the perfect distance from home but I am worried because I know I will miss my little brother CJ so much along with my grandparents.

What activities to you participate in?

I play varsity basketball and varsity golf. Golf is my favorite sport but I love being on the basketball team with all of my friends. I met one of my best friends Isabel playing basketball when we were in elementary school. I am also in student council. I was elected Senior Class Vice President by my fellow peers and I love the responsibility it holds and I am glad that I get more say in our school and the activities we hold.

What do you regret from high school?

I do not regret much from high school. I made my best friends from high school.

What is your favorite subject?

My favorite subject is math. I love to figure out problems–it is like solving a puzzle!
