Sam Stallbaum

Sam Stallbaum is the Person of the Week at Lakewood High School, and he is a freshman. I asked him a few questions:
Q: Do you have any after-school activities? Do you play any sports?
A:` I play soccer in the fall, and I have Academic Challenge every Friday.
Q: What are some of your favorite activities?
A: Playing soccer, Academic Challenge, and playing the cello.
Q: How many advanced classes are you in? What are they?
A: I am in 4 advanced classes. The classes are advanced Physical Science, advanced Geometry, advanced English 1, and AP US History.
Q: What advanced class is your toughest? Why is it your toughest?
A: The classes are hard, but they get easier throughout the year. I enjoy having this challenge of tough classes.
Q: Are you planning on going to college? If so, what college?
A: I am planning to go to college, but I am not sure which one.
Q: What are you planning on doing after your high school/college career?
A: I am thinking about some kind of engineer and maybe something to do with science and the outdoors. Maybe an ecologist.
Q: What position do you play in soccer?
A: My favorite position is forward, but I play defense and midfield.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Hubbard. She teaches advanced Physical Science.
Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: My favorite class is advanced Physical Science. It is my favorite because it is fun and I always have a blast.
