Finally! After 10 long years of waiting, the 15th installment of Final Fantasy is now coming out. The fans have been craving for this came ever since announced back in 2006, and now, on November 29th, 2016, the game will finally release worldwide.

The series has been through many changes throughout the years. Changes such as the title, originally being Final Fantasy versus XIII, main character changes, such as Stella to Luna, as well as graphical improvements, (PS3 to PS4.)  The game has also been delayed throughout time. The original plan to release the game was on September 30th, 2016, but due to reasons of being “not ready” director Tabata states that the staff weren’t ready to release the game. For this reason, the game will now release on November 29th, 2016.

The main story follows with the player playing as Prince Noctis, who leaves the city to be forcefully wed to Lady Lunafreya. As things turn out back home, the war continues and Noctis’ father, King Regis, gets stuck and into trouble. Following this news, the wedding is canceled and all hell breaks loose all over the world of Eos. Noctis is accompanied by 3 other companions, one of which being his high schools friend. Prompto, Ignis and Gladio join with Noctis on his journey to reclaim his throne.

One common misconception about the Final Fantasy series is that fans believe they have to play all the other Final Fantasy games in order to understand the latest one. That, however, is not true. Each installment to the Final Fantasy series is it’s own story, not following after the last. So fans shouldn’t be worried of getting into a complex storyline with the newest game.

Final Fantasy XV has sold out in many different places as fans all around the world are preparing themselves for November 29, 2016.
