Lakewood High School has many athletes in this great community, but one really sticks out. That athlete is Jacob Sala. Jacob is a junior at LHS and is on the varsity basketball team. Jacob leads the Ranger Basketball team to victory and success with his great leadership and teamwork skills. I had a great opportunity to meet Jacob and ask him a few questions.
Q: How long have you played the game of Basketball?
A: “I’ve played basketball since the first grade”
Q: How tall are you?
A: “I’m 6 foot 8 inches”
Q: What position do you play?
A: “I’m a center and also a power forward”
Q: What are your goals for this season and next season?
A:” My goal for this season is to make the conferences and next season my goal is to win the conference championship.”
Q: Who is your biggest role model?
A: “My mom is my biggest role model because she supports me and is always there for me”
