Why the Indians can Win it all

Last year the Indians lost in the World Series 4 games to 3 against the Chicago Cubs. Usually these two teams wouldn’t be in the World Series again next year but I feel like the Indians have a great shot to get back and win it.

The Indians have one of the best pitching rotations in the MLB and with Corey Kluber starting and Andrew Miller relieving it is hard to lose. Adding someone new to the team always helps. In the offseason the Indians signed Edwin Encarnacion to a 3 year deal worth $60 million.

The most important part about getting to a championship multiple years is keeping the same core guys and the Indians did that by keeping Lindor, Kipnis, Ramirez, Kluber and Miller. I think with these people plus the help of other key players on the team we can get back to the World Series.

In the AL conference there aren’t a lot of teams that scare me. The Red Sox don’t have David Ortiz anymore, the Blue Jays don’t have a solid pitching rotation and the list goes on. Also in the Indians division our only contender is the Detroit Tigers. But they have pitching issues as well.

I’m not saying that the Indians will go 162-0, there will be some bumps in the road but in the AL there isn’t a team as good as the Indians on a daily basis. The AL doesn’t have a team like the Chicago Cubs or Los Angeles Dodgers. I think the Indians have a great shot of getting back to the World Series and winning it all.
