    Playoff season is here

    For many Cleveland basketball fans this is the best time of the year. The 2017 NBA Playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers put on a show for sports fans all around the world during the 2016 playoffs.

    The Cavs made it to the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors were up in the series 3-1 but that didn’t stop the Cavs going after the championship which caused the Warriors to blow a 3-1 lead making it the first in history.

    This made the Cleveland Cavaliers the NBA Champions of 2016. The real question from the fans would be, will the Cavs be able to pull it off again for the year 2017? The Cavs record for the eastern conference is 51-31.

    Through the regular season the Cavaliers missed their shooting guard and forward due to a broken thumb. Towards the end of the season JR made his return to the Cavs helping the team with his three pointers. In the first round of the playoffs the Cavs faced their neighbors, the Indiana Pacers.

    In game one of the series the Indiana Pacers fought back with Cavs causing such a close game, but the Cavs pulled through by winning 109-108. For game two there was no fourth quarter collapse like game one, the Cavaliers beat the Pacers 117-111.

    Kyrie Iriving blistered the Pacers with 37 points and LeBron James had 25 points with 10 rebounds. For game 3 the Cleveland Cavaliers did what has never been done in NBA history, rallying from a 25 point halftime deficit stunned the Indiana Pacers.

    The Cavs won 119-114. For Game 4 swept the Pacers, beating them 106-102. The Cavaliers will continue playoff basketball this upcoming week either against the Toronto Raptors or the Milwaukee Bucks.
