    Life-Size 2

    Life-Size+2

Tyra is back! And she’s bringing a classical Disney movie along with her. On March 5, 2000, “Life-Size” premiered on Disney Channel and was instantly a hit among children. Now, 17 years later Tyra Banks announced on her twitter (@tyrabanks) that “Life-Size 2” was in the works. She tweeted “One word: LIFE-SIZE oops… 2 words LIFE-SIZE 2” It immediately got attention, with over 123 thousand re-tweets, and 300 thousand likes!

The original plot is about a teenage girl named Casey (played by Lindsey Lohan) who tried to resurrect her deceased mother, but instead resurrected a Barbie doll named Eve that she had received as a birthday present. Casey is first very upset that her plan did not fall through and takes it out on Eve who is amazed and very grateful to have been brought to life. As the movie progresses, however, Casey begins to look at Eve as a mother figure. But soon Eve gets homesick and finds a new spell to turn herself back into a doll after having a thoughtful and inspiring speech with Casey. The movie ends with the family dancing to Eve’s theme song. The film gave off a great message to little girls about confidence, and how to be a good role model.

“Life-Size 2” is set to air on Freeform in December 2018.  Banks will star her iconic role in “Life-Size 2” as a doll that comes to life, but in the sequel, everyone’s favorite doll, Eve, has grown up. This time around, she’s magically awoken to help a young woman learn to live and love again, and along the way, Eve herself will experience the ups and downs of real life just like in the original! No word on if Lohan will return to play the young woman or if she’ll make a cameo. Although, Banks has shared her interests in having actress Zendaya playing the lead.

Now Christmas won’t be the only thing people will be looking forward to next year!
