It could not have been a more perfect weather day for the inaugural Nike Cross Country Oberlin Opener hosted and held at Oberlin College this past weekend. Everything from the weather, to the course conditions,  the energy and mental focus brought on from the team lead to a big morning.

The LHS Boys Varsity team took home the team Championship trophy with 24pts behind the efforts of Joe Burtzlaff- first place overall (new PR) 16:24, Cormac Kramer 3rd place (new PR) 16:41, Joey Toole 4th place (new PR) 16:50, followed by Max Budzar in 8th place (new PR) 17:23 and our final scorer Sean O’Donnell w/(new PR) 18:16 in 10th place. Patrick McCallum (new PR) 18:17 and Tyler Hannah (first 5K race ever in 18:37) rounded out our top seven runners.
