    Lakewood Farm Markets

    Lakewood+Farm+Markets

Lakewood Farmer Market kicked off their 8th season on June 27th, 2017 and will continue to get every Saturday until  October 14th, 2017. The annual market takes place in front of the Marc’s Plaza each week. Right off of Detroit Avenue in the center of downtown Lakewood.

This beautiful market has a wide variety of fresh handpicked produce, artisan food, and homemade goods from more than two dozen venders. Shoppers are able to purchase things from local fresh farm produce and produce such as Ohio raised meats, eggs and cheeses, to spices, soap, lotion plus one-of-a-kind handcrafted items. The market is now a staple in this wonderful community. This was a great idea providing a venue for neighborhood residents to connect with hyper-local growers and home-based “cottage industries.”

This hyper-local focus and the engagement of surrounding businesses and organizations, reinforces the market’s motto: “We’re Local, We’re Lakewood”. Supporters of the Lakewood Farmers Market include not just community residents, but a handful of Lakewood businesses, the City of Lakewood, the Downtown Lakewood business Alliance, and the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.

This would be a great way to start off fall going out and getting some local produce that is grown right here in Lakewood. Hope everyone is able to go check out all the great produce and much more before October 14th!
