    Light Up Lakewood 2017

    Light Up Lakewood 2017

Lakewood, Ohio is brightening the city with a show case of lights! Lakewood is in the Christmas spirit! Every year Lakewood does a show case of the Christmas tree in the middle of Downtown Lakewood lighting up with lights of all colors. This also includes snowflake shaped lights on the electric pools.

This includes the streets being blocked off from Marlowe Ave to Arthur Ave. In between is roughly five blocks. In these blocks there is games, ice shaving shows, food, drinks, and much more. The city of Lakewood holds this every year around the same time. Lakewood is only a 2 mile radius so the community is very close-knit.

This year it will be held on December 2 for the 11th consecutive year. It starts at 5P.M. with a parade starting at Manor Park and ending in front of Lakewood Library. This is followed by live events from bands, choirs, etc, and the lighting ceremony at 6:30P.M. Then ends with a can’t miss firework show at 7P.M. to end the night off right. Light Up Lakewood is sponsored by First Federal Lakewood and brought to you by Lakewoodalive.

    Hope to see you there!
