Trick-Or-Treating in lakewood this year

Trick-Or-Treating+in+lakewood+this+year

The City of Lakewood will observe this year’s Halloween Trick-or-Treating between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31st, 2022. The weather is forecasted to be in the lower fifties with showers in the evening.

The City of Lakewood is suggesting tips for parents, residents, and drivers. They suggest carrying a flashlight as a safeguard and for children to be especially careful after sunset. Drivers should be particularly vigilant and expect to make frequent stops in residential areas. Residents giving out candy and treats could also encourage walking up and down steps, and to be careful crossing the streets.

The National Fire Protection Association suggests that when choosing a costume, parents should stay away from long trailing fabric and to make sure that masks have eyes large enough that their child can see out.

Whether you use flashlights or glowsticks to be safe this Halloween, remember to be safe – and have fun.
