Looking for something to do over the weekend? Consider going to see The Play That Goes Wrong at the Cleveland PlayHouse!
The play is a comedy centered around “The Cornley Drama Society” doing a production of “The Murder At Haversham Manor.” The play quickly turns into a disaster as everything that could go wrong happens. Director Melissa Rain Anderson said due to all the stunts in the play, the cast has to be “a well-oiled machine that’s completely rehearsed up to the nanosecond.” Along with their typical nights, they have two open caption performances on Feb 24 and Feb 25, 2024 and there will be an ASL interpreted performance on March 1, 2024.
The first three nights of The Play That Goes Wrong were on Saturday, Feb 10, Sunday, Feb 11, and Feb 13, 2024. At 7:30 6:30 and 7 p.m. respectively, although shows will go until March 10. Tickets will cost anywhere from $49-$95 depending on seats. When asked about the Playhouse Square experience, Lakewood High School student, Brady Long, went on to say “ When I first walked in I noticed a grand ceiling and a red carpet, almost like it’s out of a movie. It’s truly a beautiful place and everyone should go there to experience it.” To learn more about The Play That Goes Wrong go to the Playhouse Square website.
