Trick or Treat in Lakewood!

This year, Lakewood will again be hosting its annual Halloween walk. Halloween Trick-or-Treating will take place Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. During this Halloween walk, all trick-or-treaters should be careful; those who are being escorted by an adult should carry a flashlight in hand. Residents passing out candy should look out for any possible dangers and make sure children aren’t running up and down stairs; they should also help kids crossing the street. The City of Lakewood also advises motor vehicles to drive slowly and cautiously.

In addition to the Halloween walk on Oct. 31, Hayes Elementary School will also be hosting a “Trunk or Treat” on Oct. 27 from 5-7 p.m. in the Hayes’ parking lot. Those attending can dress up their kids in their costumes, bring candy to pass out and decorate their trunks with spooky decorations.

One Lakewood mom, Siobhan Hobson, said, “I feel as if its a fun thing to do with your kids.”
