Dewey’s Pizza and Angelo’s Pizza are some of the most popular and beloved pizza places in Lakewood. Even Tom Hanks visited Angelo’s in 2016! The whole city of Lakewood has its opinions on these amazing places. Angelo’s has won many awards for its great pizza and received 4.6 stars on Google. Dewey’s is right behind at 4.5 stars. Freshman Addison Garret prefers Dewey’s Pizza over Angelo’s. Garret says, “I’m not a big fan of crust, but I love Dewey’s Crust. I also really like all of the options for toppings. When I was a kid my favorite thing to do was to watch the workers make the pizza through the windows, it always made me laugh.”
Abby Kovach also likes Dewey’s Pizza better than Angelo’s. Kovach says, “I love how you can watch your pizza being freshly made through the window, also the prices are much more affordable.”
Olivia Brady who is also a freshman says, “I love both of the places but I like Dewey’s more because of their Caprese pizza. The crust and cheese are so delicious.”
