Kylee Zingale, Lakewood Sports Reporter

The Lakewood Rangers traveled down to North Olmsted on Saturday to take on Westlake in a crucial league game. It was a hard game for the Rangers. As goalie Ryan Sterling said: “it sucked.” The Lakewood Rangers, ultimately, dropped in overtime losing 1-2 with a goal by Eli Ladue.

The Lakewood Rangers took on Cleveland Heights on Sunday at home for senior night. They played a tough game, dropping in the fourth quarter to Cleveland Heights. The Rangers lost 4-5 with goals by Jay Schmoldt, Annette Doren, Bryce Fulmer, and Ronan Johnson. The Rangers will be back this Thursday, Feb 2 against Parma at Rise Arena. The game will start at 8:30 pm. The Lakewood Rangers will be away Friday, Feb, 3 against Cleveland Heights at 7:30 pm.  Come down and support your Lakewood Hockey Team this week as they only have three games left in the season including these two. If the Lakewood Ranger beat either Param and/or Cleveland Heights they will be able to continue onto the Baron Cup.
