Listen up lawyers! Mock Trial will have its first meeting on Oct. 20, where they will begin preparation for the Mock Trial competitions in January. Mock Trial is a club where students will talk and argue about court cases as if they were a real trial.
There is no limit to the amount of students who may join this club. Everyone who signs up will be able to contribute to the statewide competition in January. For those who enjoy public speaking, prepare to be heard in the courtroom. If you do not like public speaking, there are also non-speaking roles you can participate in for this club.
The Mock Trial team also works with professional lawyers Dan Shields and Amelia Leonard. This club is a great opportunity to see what it is actually like to be in a courtroom.
If you’re interested in being a part of Mock Trial, go to room C309 to sign up with Mr. Lobozzo.
