LHS Tea Club

“An interesting idea. Different from a regular club.” – Rita Yost
Tea Club
Tea Club

Looking for a new club to join? You’re in luck! The Tea Club is a new club to Lakewood High School and looking for students to join! The Tea Club gives you the opportunity to discover new teas from all over the world and to learn more about tea itself. If you have an interest in tea or the history of tea, or perhaps just want to try something new, then come on and join!

It’s super easy to join! First, start by scanning the code on the posters around the school. That will take you to the Google survey, and then answer the questionnaire about the tea you prefer and why you would like to join the club. Submit and you are all set.

The Tea Club begins Jan. 17 in classroom B203. This is a great chance to try something new or, if you’re already interested in tea, to expand your knowledge and passion. Senior Zoe Bowers, the founder of Tea Club, states, “I started Tea Club because I am a big tea fanatic. Not the kind of tea in a bag most of which are low-quality teas, but the loose-leaf kind. I wanted to start the club to share and introduce the different teas and tea cultures from around the world whilst drinking good quality teas.”

If you want to sip tea with new friends, join Tea Club to get to know the beloved beverage with tons of history behind its different flavors!
