Upcoming+Classes+with+The+Beck+Center

The Beck Center For The Arts, located at 17801 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood, introduces communal performing arts services to anyone interested in an assortment of art education, classes, musicals, and plays. These activities are offered to all ages, from children to adults, including adapted classes for special needs for all ages.

Each class varies from hands-on arts to dancing arts to theatre arts. Hands-on arts include visual arts, ceramics, and illustration. Dancing arts include activities such as Advanced Beginning jazz, Low intermediate Hip Hop, and Advanced Ballet. Theatre arts include acting, acting adventures, and improv. Inclusion in these classes can lead to work with plays and musicals the Beck Center puts on.

Classes through the Beck Center aren’t restricted to what is above; further research should be conducted through the registry of classes: The Becks Center For The Arts Classes/Lessons

Along with all the classes provided, there are special events and plays you can see! One that is very popular is the Nutcracker, which runs from Dec. 2-10. Also, a very exciting immersive New York City Broadway experience will be provided in October! Guests who attend this trip will have private salon discussions with Broadway stars, attend NYC architecture tours, hear theater industry insider scoops, see exclusive tours of Broadway theater, and much more!

Another exhibit that will be provided for a limited time is called Women of Creativity. This exhibit focuses on women’s art pieces and the details that went into creating them.
