The Lakewood Rangers boys basketball team takes on the Eagles from St. Edward’s in both teams’ season opener on Saturday, Dec. 2. The game is at St. Edward’s court, which was newly renovated two years ago. The Rangers are going into the season with sky-high expectations, as they have 10 returning lettermen. Lakewood hopes to use this experience advantage to gain an extra edge over the Eagles. The team is looking forward to the challenge.
Now for a little view into the rest of the season, the Rangers have a very tough schedule as always. On Tuesday, Dec. 5, Strongsville is coming to Lakewood for the home opener and that Friday, they travel to Avon. Both of these games will be difficult but the team is ready for them. Other key games on the schedule are the two games against Holy Name on Jan. 9 and Feb. 16 that could decide the conference again this year.
Come out and support your Rangers this weekend!
