No rhyme or reason
I write with zero passion
My deadline is the reason
My writing is hard to ration
Words dead on arrival
Souless and meaningless
I tear up my paper
All I feel is anger
My face like a tomato
I bury myself like a potato
Deep in this cycle of writing
I can’t seem to dig my way out.
