You’ve been by my side since the age of three
You’ve seen me cry millions of rivers, and cause earthquakes with my anger
You’ve been smeared in mud and paint, but still stick by my side
Getting snuggled every night till I thought I was done with you
Shoving you under the bed only having the dust bunnies as company
The cold wood pressed against you
Still wearing the friendship bracelet with my initial on it
Hearing me talk on the phone rather than talk to you
From doing everything with you, to forgetting about your comfort you brought
From the countless nights you kept me warm and safe from the fights of my mom and dad
But growing up made me realize how much you actually mean.
Dusting you off, giving you some good cleaning and now keeping you on my bed
You now, again are feeling the sensation of love
