This year, Barnstormers is proud to present to you their production of Romeo and Juliet. Auditions took place this past Tuesday, Sept. 12 to see who would play the beloved characters that we all know and love. We’re proud to announce this show’s cast, starring Ursula Rosen as Juliet and Emily Jarecke as Romeo!

When asked how she feels about the upcoming production, junior Lilly Benjamin says, ”I would just be excited to be a part of the theater program in any way. I’m really excited because Carolyn [Romeo and Juliet Director] said there’s going to be a lot more emphasis on hair and makeup in this show, which I think is going to be really fun, and I’m just excited because I think all the characters are interesting, and I just love all the characters in the show.”

The cast list is as shown below:

Now for those who were sadly not cast, or those who chose not to audition, you’re still able to participate in Barnstormers this fall. Barnstormers Historian Zoë Pace tells us to  “…Join the Barnstormers Google Classroom. Information is available in the Black Box. There will be opportunities to join Tech crew, costumes, and makeup.”

Most importantly, when can we see it? The times for this performance are 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 10, 11, and 12 of 2023. Definitely try to come see the show!
