This past week, the Lakewood High School Marching Band has been working hard to perfect “Show Two,” which is the second part of the halftime show that is played after the first half of the season. They will be performing three new songs – “Carry on My Wayward Son”, “Roundabout”, and “Immigrant Song”. Clinton Steinbrunner, the Band Director, says “I think it’s good and I’ll be excited to do two new songs next week and I think they’re both exciting songs and are different from what we’ve been doing.”
The band was determined and diligently racing against the clock to have “Show Two” ready to perform by Saturday, Sept. 23 for the Music Festival, which featured class band students and returning alumni.
