Concentration Camps in China Holding Muslim Uighur’s

I’m sure a lot of you guys have heard about the two horrific attack’s that took place on Friday, March 13, 2019 in the New Zealand mosques that killed at least 51 people. The attack was done by a terrorist who was fueled by Islamophobic and anti-immigrant feelings that seems to be rising worldwide.

But have you guys heard about the concentration camps in china holding millions of Uighur Muslims? My guess is a no form most of you guys because it wasn’t important enough for most countries to speak out on it.

Many countries preferred to stay silent because they fear economic or political back flash from china , which seems more important than the lives humans.

The U.N. committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination said that members have received “credible reports” that 1 million ethnic Muslim Uighur’s are being held in internment camps. Hundreds of  Uighur Muslims are demanding videos of relatives and family members to make sure they are alive , but have not received any response from anyone on the wellbeing of their family members.

These camps have been going on since 2017 , but no one really knows much about what’s happening. It is said that turkey is one of the only country that has spoken out about what happened because it is home to significant amount of Uighur Muslims. The Turkish foreign ministry in his statement said ” The reintroduction of internment camps in the XXI’st century and policy of systematic assimilation against the Uighur Turks carried out by the authorities of china is great shame for humanity.”

Which it really is great shame for humanity to see that the same things that happened to millions of other people are happening all over again and no one seems to care about it until it’s too late to make a change. We as a Humanity only wake up when there’s great damage and can only do so little to make everything better again.
