Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3

Since Call of Duty was first released, they began to update the game with different multiplayer seasons in order to keep the game fresh and new. Most video games will just do the usual Downloadable Content, or DLC for short, which will usually cost the player around 10 dollars for every DLC that is published. Sometimes a new DLC can cost a lot of money too with the possibility of being anywhere from 50 dollars or even higher.  But, that is not the case with this new season.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare released its most recent season, Season 3, on Wednesday April 8th. With this new season comes a new operator, which comes from the campaign, and a new story mode of the game.  Also with this new season comes new maps, game modes, rewards to unlock with the battle pass, and more weapons. As with every season of Call of Duty, your Level is set back to 55, unless you were lower than 55, and every player can start fresh with a little charm that shows how far you got in the previous season.

With all this new content coming out every few months, the game is never going to stay old for very long. And as long as they continue to release these new seasons, everyone can be happy, especially with how the seasons are free to the public and are not something you would have to pay for. Every season for Call of Duty manages to spice the game up just a bit without changing the game entirely and making it feel like something totally new.

Every time a video game releases a new update the amount of people who play the game spikes. Whether the spike is large or not depends on the game, but with Call of Duty the spike is almost guaranteed to be larger than most with how popular the game has been in the past.
