Super Bowl LV: Kansas City Chiefs V.S Tampa Bay Buccaneers

William Hyatt

This February 7th, the top two teams in the NFL will face off on football’s biggest stage. The Kansas City Chiefs will be playing the Tom Brady-lead Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers took an underdog approach to the season, even after acquiring one of the greatest, if not the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Tom Brady.

Tom Brady will be entering the tenth Super Bowl of his career, walking away with a seventh ring if the Bucs can come out on top.  To top that off, Tom has four Super Bowl MVPs!

The Buccaneers have been lead by a very strong defense, playing their best football in years.  The Bucs have forced some of the best quarterbacks, including Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, to make countless mistakes during the playoffs.  “I’m sure most people believed that with Tom Brady, the offense would carry this team.  What we failed to realize was how good their defense really is.  Of course, the offense is no slouch either,”  says junior Lucas Winters.

On the other side of things, we have the returning Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, lead by quarterback Patrick Mahomes.  The Chiefs are large favorites leading up to the game, but anything can happen once the players hit the field.

The Chiefs are going to lean heavily on their secondary to stop the speedy Buccaneers’ receivers, and of course Tom Brady.  This should not be too much of a problem after watching them shut down the Bills’ passing game this past week.

For the first time in NFL history, one of the teams playing in the Super Bowl will be at their own field.  The game will be taking place in Tampa giving the Bucs an early leg up.

This may be one of the best Super Bowl games in NFL history. We have two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game facing off.  All we can do now is wait…..
