    Jing Feng

    Jing Feng

Jing Feng is a 16 year old junior that participates in cross country where she just ran in Districts with the rest of her varsity team. Her personal record for a 5k (3.1 miles) is 20:23 and she has received two letters for cross country, although she did not participate her freshman year.

In track and field, she runs the 800m, 1600m and 3200m and she received two letters. She also ran indoor track in the winter and got a letter for that as well. She hopes to receive 2 or more letters from indoor and outdoor track this season.

On top of being a great athlete, Jing takes two AP classes and one college credit plus class. She has a 4.2 GPA and she wishes to go into biomedical engineering or photography. Her top picks for college are The University of Cincinnati and The University of Colorado.

Jing loves photography as one of her biggest hobbies. She has been photographing people and things since the 7th grade and her abilities have grown so much. Many of this class’s seniors have offered to pay for her to take their senior photos, after seeing her photography.

Jing juggles academics and athletics, but working is a focus that she plans on holding off until summer or until after high school. Over the summer and some of last school year, Jing worked at Panera in Rocky River but recently resigned to focus on academics and cross country.

Jing Feng is a great role model for those who struggle with time management and multitasking. She is friendly and would be more than happy to answer any questions from anyone who wants to know how to balance your time and energy as a high schooler.
