The Foreigner’s Home is a documentary film directed by Cinema Studies Program professors Rian Brown and Geoff Pingree that explores Toni Morrison’s artistic and intellectual vision through The Foreigner’s Home, her 2006 exhibition at the Louvre.

We are lucky to have an Evening with Director Rian Brown who will be coming to Lakewood High School, today from 5:30-7:00pm in the Civic.

This Documentary raises the topic of Who is the foreigner? Am I the foreigner in my own home? Who decides? Such were the questions posed by renowned author Toni Morrison at her 2006 guest-curated exhibit at the Louvre, “The Foreigner’s Home”.

Please come and join us for this powerful documentary and the Q & A that will follow with Director, Rian Brown.
