Person of the Week

Mallory Lord

This young woman right here is Mallory Lord. She is 17 and she is a senior at Rocky River High School in Rocky River, Ohio. She is one of the funniest, happiest and sweetest friend you will ever find! I have decided to ask her some questions about her time here at LHS in the West Shore Program.

What West Shore program are you in?

“I am in Early Childhood Education.”

What made you choose Early childhood education over the other programs?

“I chose Early childhood education because I’ve always loved working with children. This program gave me the opportunity to really see if I would like to become a teacher.”

What do you like most about Early Childhood Education program?

“I like making friends in class and being able to have people to talk to there.”

What do you dislike the most about the Early Childhood Education program?

“I dislike the amount of drama that is in the classroom. It’s not always the easiest to do schoolwork and listen to all of the drama in the class.”

What are your plans for after high school?

“After high school I will be attending Tri-C. After two years, i hope to transfer to either Cleveland State University or Kent State University. I will be going to Tri-C undecided.”

What do you hope to achieve within the next two years?

“I hope I will decide what I want to major in and figure out what I exactly want to do with my life.”

What are you going to miss about high school?

“I honestly am not going to miss anything about high school academically. But i will missĀ  the Friday night football games, the school dances, friends and some teachers.”
