Sarita a restaurant took over Players on Madison about a year ago, taking over the italian style restaurant that had been in Lakewood for over 40 years. Sarita overs a new style of American Cuisine with all different types of food, including many options of meat, vegetables and pizzas, all with their own twist.

The new owners of the restaurant even met at the old one, Players, over 16 years ago, and did a great job replacing their predecessor. Sarita offers many different specials throughout the week, from Sunday to Thursday, you get to make your own pizza or pasta anyway you like it, on Wednesday, it 40% all bottles of wine, also they offer Happy Hour from Sunday to Thursday, from 5pm-9pm.

Sarita a restaurant doesn’t just have great food, but a great environment. The restaurant has a very relaxing style and is a fun place to take family and friends. Sarita also offer the chef’s table where there is a large communal table that is great for family and friend, with a Prix Fie menu served by Chef Tony.  Not only do the have a great inside, but also a fantastic patio that offers a nice way to enjoy that outside, especially in the warm summer months.

Although it was sad to see the long time restaurant Players lose, it was replaced by a fantastic restaurant that has great food and a fun environment. Offering many unique dishes, a wonderful patio and I hope that it can stay around for a long time.
