2022 is the first Coachella that hasn’t been canceled since 2019 due to Covid. Coachella is the music festival taking over many Instagram feeds, Snapchats and Youtube videos because of its clothing trends and the top artists of the year. The amount of celebrities that can be seen at Coachella each year is astonishing since many are performing and others love to watch them.

Similar to the met gala, the Oscars and the Grammys, influencers and celebrities go all out for their outfits and their styles are rated by the general public. This year, however, many of the styles were a lot more diluted and comfortable rather than a huge statement done in past years. A possible cause for this could be hate from fans in the past when celebrities and influencers take a risk, even though many fans still shared their negative opinions on the lack of uniqueness of many of the looks.

This year is one of the biggest in terms of the celebrities that performed. There were concerts from Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, City Girls, 21 Savage and more. Many people believe Olivia Rodrigo would have performed as well if she wasn’t on tour due to her best friend Conan Gray being there and performing.

Although many of the attendees of Coachella are influencers and celebrities, tickets are open to the public for around $500. For so many concerts the tickets are increasingly expensive, but some people bite the bullet and buy. What do you think–is Coachella worth the price?
