The Guardian

Unless you live under a rock, then you most likely know that the past two weeks have been election weeks. Plenty of people have been going around the school campaigning. From cookies to posters, plenty of things have been going on trying to spark your interest in them as your candidate.  A trending theme this year is baby photos and drawings of the candidates for their posters. Making funny little jokes based on these childhood pictures.

Except, the following Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the polls have gone up for voting and students are beginning to choose who they want to support them in the 22-23 school year. From the Student body to Class positions, the competition was on to be great Lakewood leaders. So… the results are in.

For the future sophomores… Luke Burke as your president and Ava Cuffari as your vice president! Make sure to give them your congratulations when you see them.

Then for the upcoming juniors your class publicist is Ronan Barley! Your secretary is Allie Bookman and Vice President is Mimi Nee! Then your Junior class President is Emily Potozack! Juniors are in good hands.

Oh no… it’s about time for the seniors. Senior class publicist goes to Wah Ler Moo and next year’s Senior class secretary is Alex Hodson! Now for Senior class vice president we have Jackie Hudak and last but not absolutely not least is Sam Hudak for Senior class president!

But that’s not it! There is also the winners of the election for the entire student body! So for the final line up of winning candidates we have Sydney Hampton for student body publicist. Also up for the student body secretary is  Mallory Zavatchen! And now it’s time for the finale. For student body vice president we have Elliot Snyder!

Then for what everyone has been waiting for… Student body president is Ameer Alkayali!

Congrats to all of the winners of the elections. Next school years is going to be very well taken care of and it’s hard to wait and see what they do next.
